Platina announces acquisition of 54MW Slieve Rushen Wind Farm

One of the largest single site wind assets on the island of Ireland, Slieve Rushen has an installed capacity of 54MW, through 18 3MW wind turbine generators.

London, 24th September 2014: Platina Energy Partners LLP (Platina) is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Slieve Rushen wind farm in County Fermanagh from Quinn Insurance Limited (in administration), after a competitive tender process managed by Investec.

One of the largest single site wind assets on the island of Ireland, Slieve Rushen has an installed capacity of 54MW, through 18 3MW wind turbine generators. There are a number of jobs linked to the site which will be secured for the future as a result of the acquisition.

Platina partnered with Rabobank and 123 Venture to fund the acquisition.
